Côte d’Ivoire Project

Following the Symposium “Entrepreneurship against malnutrition” organized on November 25 and 26, 2019 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, the Fondation Avril committed to implement, in the field, the proposals presented during this event aimed at strengthening food security and improving nutrition of populations.

AFDI Mali

Fondation Avril has been supporting AFDI since 2019 in a project to test digital agricultural services (management solutions, training, weather informations, price trends, stocks, experts advices, etc.) with 500 Malian cooperatives.

Moringa Fund

With the Moringa Fund, Fondation Avril takes part in an experimental program aimed at developing virtuous models around oil palm, cultivated in agroforestry by independent farmers.

Optigerm

In 2019, Fondation Avril financed the Optigerm project, carried out as part of a partnership between CIRAD, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Abomey-Calavi University, Nutrinat and the Technical University of Munich.

SEED Project

Since 2017, Fondation Avril has been supporting the Seed Project, which sources and identifies new technologies adapted to agricultural transformation, especially for African family farmers.

R-STEPPS

The R-Stepps project, led by a team from College de France and supported by Fondation Avril, aims to automate tree planting in dry lands, thanks to a coordinated fleet of small rustic robots with complementary features.

Cuma-Bénin Aquitaine

In 2017, Fondation Avril made a commitment to the Cuma-Bénin-Aquitaine Association and the National Union of Cuma in Benin (UNCuma) to develop a mechanized soybean sector, from north to south Benin.
