Optigerm
In 2019, Fondation Avril financed the Optigerm project, carried out as part of a partnership between CIRAD, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Abomey-Calavi University, Nutrinat and the Technical University of Munich.
Optigerm’s mission is to contribute to improving the nutritional status of African populations, both in rural and urban areas, by developing and marketing an improved flour based on legumes and germinated cereals adapted, in particular, to the purchasing power of the most vulnerable populations.

the Foundation also supported 7 local initiatives led by local Food Banks, to enable people in precarious situations to access quality food aid.
Solaal
In 2017, Solaal designed and distributed the guide « Le don agricole de A à Z », which lists 35 action sheets and 50 testimonies from committed farmers.
